The brief period when Old Comiskey Park and the (almost complete) New Comiskey Park, stood side by side,1990, Chicago. Old Comiskey was demolished in 1991.
All that remains now is a marker in the parking lot, showing the former home plate.

Comiskey Park under construction, c.1910. This original park stood at 35th and Shields. The current ballpark was built on the other side of 35th street. What made this park unusual was that it was “fireproof”, built totally from concrete and steel.
