In light of Wednesday’s news of the Illinois House’s approval of $20 billion in capital construction projects, $10 million of which, if passed by the Senate, will go to the renovation of the Uptown Theater; here are several pictures of my personal favorite Chicago landmark at Lawrence and Broadway, circa 1968.
